Summer Shipping Tips for Living Light PyroDinos are living cultures, and summertime shipping can be tricky. A little planning can make a big difference.

| Before You Order This Summer When possible, we recommend waiting to order live PyroDinos until your local daytime temperatures are below 90°F. Warm weather does not always cause problems, but extended time in a hot delivery truck, mailbox, or sunny porch can stress or damage the culture.
| Delivery Day Tips - Bring your shipment inside as soon as it arrives.
- Do not leave the package on a porch, in direct sunlight, or in a hot mailbox.
- Open the shipping box promptly and place your PyroDinos in a lighted room.
- Give them daily light and a few nights to recover from shipping stress.
| A Safer Summer Option If your area is hot, consider contacting USPS or UPS and requesting that your shipment be held at a local pickup point, such as your post office or a UPS Store. That way, you can pick it up and drive it home safely. Just be sure to pick it up as soon as possible—heat can spoil the culture, but so can multiple nights in a dark box.
